Kara Lewis & West Webb’s Wedding at Ramble Creek
We watched the weather all morning…and the night before and the night before and the night before that!
Rain was in the forecast for Kara Lewis and West Webb’s wedding at Ramble Creek, and our team kept checking as preparations continued. We were hoping, fingers crossed, they would get their dream ceremony beneath the Vine Arbor.
The rain held off. And right as Kara and West were saying their vows, the sun broke through.
Of all the details from their Sunday, October 11, 2026 wedding in Athens, Tennessee, that is one we’ll remember for a long time.
From the video you shared to the day they said “I do”
If you found Ramble Creek through Kara’s videos, welcome! So many of you have written to tell us that her visit made you smile, cry, or send the video straight to someone you love. We’ve loved hearing what caught your attention, especially the kind things you’ve said about our team.
Kara spends much of her time helping other people tell their stories. A Franklin Lifestyle interview explores that work and the filmmaking she shares with West. NewsChannel 5 has also covered how her storytelling brought people together to help a Nashville family find a fresh start.
It was a privilege to welcome Kara and West here for a day that belonged to their own story.
An outdoor ceremony beneath the Vine Arbor
Kara and West chose the Vine Arbor for their ceremony, tucked into the trees here at Ramble Creek. Drapery, twinkle lights, floral arrangements on either side of the arbor, and a ceremony cross framed the space. Flowers along the aisle carried the design out toward their guests.
The natural canopy gives this part of the property an intimate feel. For their wedding, the added flowers and soft fabric made it feel especially romantic.
Kara and West also included a foot-washing ceremony, taking turns kneeling before one another beneath the Vine Arbor. With a glass bowl, a pitcher of water, and their loved ones looking on, they shared a quiet expression of their faith and commitment to serving each other in marriage. It was a tender, personal part of their ceremony, and we’re grateful we got to witness it.
And then came that sunlight during the vows. After a morning of watching the forecast, seeing them standing there together in the sun was a relief and a joy.
Kara and West’s wedding flowers
The floral design brought together peach and blush tones, greenery, and soft texture. Roses and garden roses were paired with dahlias, peach lisianthus, blush butterfly ranunculus, baby’s breath, smilax, and pampas.
Our in-house florist, Beau, helped bring the design together across the bouquets, boutonnieres, ceremony flowers, and reception details. Greenery and baby’s breath continued onto the dinner tables, connecting the outdoor ceremony with the celebration inside.
For couples drawn to Kara’s flowers, that combination offers a lovely starting point: warm peach, gentle blush, and plenty of green against the wood and vines of the property.
Farmhouse tables, candlelight, and warm gold details
Inside the Grand Hall, farmhouse tables were dressed with champagne gauze runners, espresso napkins, gold chargers, and gold flatware. The deeper brown napkins gave the soft palette a little richness, while the gold details added warmth.
Floating candles, votives, ivory taper candles in gold candlesticks, and fairy lights brought light along the tables. Overhead drapery softened the Grand Hall, and linen draping at the covered bridge carried the styling into another favorite corner of the property.
The result was a reception design that made room for the character of the building: exposed wood, long tables, flowers, and a whole lot of candlelight.
What was on Kara Lewis and West Webb’s wedding menu?
If the food caught your eye, here are the details! Our culinary team prepared their wedding menu in Ramble Creek’s on-site kitchen, with comfort-food favorites for cocktail hour and a pasta dinner to follow.
Cocktail-hour appetizers included:
Fried ravioli with house marinara
A macaroni and cheese bar with brisket and bacon
Chips with guacamole and white queso
House pimiento cheese on crostini with bacon jam
Deviled eggs with candied pepper bacon
For dinner:
Caesar salad
Garlic butter bread
Beef lasagna
Chicken and spinach lasagna
Vegetable pesto pasta primavera
Having a full-time Executive Chef and an on-site kitchen gives our couples room to build a menu around the food they actually enjoy. Kara and West’s selections are a good example of how that can look: familiar favorites, plenty of variety, and a dinner that feels welcoming.
Cookies-and-cream cake and a little more time together
Their three-tier wedding cake paired vanilla cake with cookies-and-cream filling and cream cheese icing. A s’mores bar added another sweet option to the evening.
Their celebration also included a champagne wall, a fire pit, and a sparkler send-off. Their signature drinks were a classic Old Fashioned for West and a Cranberry Cherry Fizz for Kara.
Those are the kinds of choices we enjoy helping couples make: the food, flowers, and small additions that turn a venue into their celebration.
